What did you talk about in church today??? My pastor gave a sermon on Exodus about how it shows God is really loving, but I dont agree with him, I think Exodus requires you to accept that God can be kind of a peepee when he wants to be and that he has that right because hes God
Anyway, post itt about literally anything you want someone to pray for and Ill pray for you, although for the next few hours itll be a prayer via the woman award filter so consider whether thats something you think you can take seriously

Possibly moving to /h/Truth in the near future for an enlightenment opportunity. I've read up on some pros and cons and the cons consistently mention that there's a lack of racial diversity…to the point where you can hardly even find ethnic food. Can anyone of any racial background shed insight on this matter? Basically I'm asking if I'll be subject to a lot of blatant racism.

he can be made to take positive pleasure in the perception that the two sides of his life are inconsistent. This is done by exploiting his vanity. He can be taught to enjoy kneeling beside the grocer on Sunday just because he remembers that the grocer could not possibly understand the urbane and mocking world which he inhabited on Saturday evening; and contrariwise, to enjoy the bawdy and blasphemy over the coffee with these admirable friends all the more because he is aware of a "deeper" "spiritual" world within him which they cannot understand. You see the idea--the worldly friends touch him on one side and the grocer on the other, and he is the complete, balanced complex man who sees round them all. Thus, while being permanently treacherous to two sets of people, he will feel, instead of shame, a continual undercurrent of self-satisfaction.

Actual question and something I've been mulling over for a while. Does the current tax system and subsequent social safety net basically fulfill your duty towards the poor? Provided you're in a 1st world country, of course.
I feel like if you pay into the tax system and the system basically ensures no poor person will starve or go naked (unless by choice), just by paying taxes you've made your minimum contribution to the poor, morally and spiritually.
Idk though because it kind of feels like a cop out at the same time. What are your thoughts?

Lets literally all thank @A for making /h/atheism unblockable so that literally nobody can escape seeing how repulsive atheism is, while /h/truth will continue to be populated by those who make the beautiful choice to embrace Christs forgiveness!!!

Romans is perhaps in terms of establishing Christian orthodoxy the densest, and most important of the letters, but I just appreciate the abundant love and optimism of Philippians
