A Virtual Novel idea: Good Father

It's a game where you roleplay as a father to two daughters and your job is to be the best father in the world. The gameplay mechanics are simple, you get a character creation screen where you can set up your dad, it can be anyone from a trans dad, lesbian dad, single father, black dad ( it's a video game fantasies are allowed), Jewish dad, poor dad, rich dad, etc. Whichever kind of dad you choose will change how your character acts and loads of dialogue options and work and outside the house activity scenarios.

When you play the game every time you stop to make a decision or say something you will get 4-6 options for what to say or what to do and depending on the choices you make your relationship with the people around you changes and new story segments are unlocked or skipped over. Every choice matters.

Some examples of the story events:

1. Your daughter is leaving her home in skimpy clothes for a party what do you say:

A) Have fun dear!

B) Wow, you look amazing, almost makes me jealous of the boys your age.

C) Eh, whatever, i don't care.

D) Wow, I didn't know I was raising a whore

E) You shouldn't wear that.

F) (Unlocked) Hey what about that dress (the way more skin covering one) that we just bought at the store today, you should totally try out that new outfit for the outing today.

1. Some aliens break into your house, there is blinding light outside. You hear screams emanating from your house, more disorienting then whatever flash grenade the aliens just threw in. What do you do:

A) I must check on my younger girl first! (Run to bedroom)

B) I must check on my older girl first! (Run to other bedroom)

C) I must call the police! ( Run downstairs)

D) I bet those aliens have nuts! (Run at alien to kick)

E) I must hide and trust the kids can handle themselves. ( Hide in closet like a real man)

1. Your daughter is getting married off to Chad Thunder*ock. It is your turn to give out the eulogy:

A) We are here today.....love....happiness....proud....

B) (Unlockable) Weuarrrr.....slurred speech.... brusts......dikoutfurambe......

C) (unlockable Charisma and Humor 20+) I can't believe this young man, this sonoab-word fell for the simplest trick in the book, and now here he is stuck with her for the rest of her life!....to this amazing woman....love....humor....faith

D) (Unlockable low charisma low self esteem) Cries and pisses self on stage.
