His smug tone which I was mostly fine with in ZP becomes grating when I imagine it coming from this dork 
He relies more on JPGs now too. That was something he did early on in his career, but he had been creating sprites for things he wanted to depict for years now. This is a major step down.

I actually don't mind it even though his avatar is EXTREMELY GAY now. It's definitely a step down from the classic stick people and imps on yellow, but I imagine he'll sort it out with time. It's like the third episode.

The real problem is that is good artstyle is copyrighted. I know he had to come up with this crap under short notice but I really fricking wish he'd done a better job.
The old characters' eyes could have a very wide range of expressions and even implied eyebrows and foreheads when needed but now everyone's all ugly and specky it just fricks everything up.
