New god of war fans cope and seethe at the superiority of the old games

• the capital sin: worse combat, because moves are worse, they mostly did away with fist/shield fighting (ie, one less "weapon", and the one you could link to other weapons in the moveset), and enemies that absolutely, 100%, are not designed to fit your moveset.

• cutscenes and more cutscenes, much longer too, the fun parts of the game are short and constantly interrupted

• one third of the game you control a wimpy kid with a terrible moveset fighting second rate enemies; oh these monsters have swords and axes and shit? Just smack them in the head with your bow lol; no it's not even a magical bow that's good for melee, it's just a bow

• you're back to kratos, well have more cutscenes then

• Looks like you might be starting to have some fun with kratos, well back to the kid then

• plot is gibberish (something vague about the end of the world, but you really can't tell if it's a good thing or a bad thing, involves a mask for some r-slurred reason you won't understand or care about)

• dialogue is complete trash, truly insufferable

• soy, soy everywhere

You only kill one god. But I did have fun. Will play again since a free DLC came out.

The entire game is cutscenes.
