Do I understand this correctly, that games are being released with known bugs which the developer is relying on modders to fix?

And gaymers are ok with this?

I think :marseyoscargamble: they're getting tired :marseysleep: of it when the base game isn't more fun than a previous entry (see fo76 and Starfield)

Jump in the discussion.

I think it's more accurate to say that they don't give a frick about trying to fix the bugs/technical issues and g*mers have already proven that they'd buy the game anyway so who cares

which is even more shameful really

They been doing this since Morrowind.

BG3: less veins on face

Are the female characters that grotesque?

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

Lol no. They're pretty hot actually. :marseybiting:

You get veins from accepting mindflayer powers and I thought it was excessive. The mod just decreases the amount to like half so your character still looks fricked up but not covered in what looks like black sharpy.

Wtf you can break bg3 party limit?

I might re-download now

Jump in the discussion.

It's a must for multiplayer imo. Otherwise you only get one party member to talk to. I'd reccomend using the new custom settings to make the game actually challenging if you want to use it :marseyfluffy: It's a great mod.

I pirated and am too neurodivergent for any multiplayer games lol

My main frustration with bg3 is that none of my spells are usable half the time. There are so many weird restrictions and mechanics that have 0 explanation.

Simply don't play spellcasters. I played as Gale my first playthrough but now I only play paladins lol.

Bethesda always releases highly complex games with lots of bugs and really good modding cowtools. Neurodivergent modders fix all the bugs and after about 3 years it becomes a great game.

Bethesda is very lucky that Todd seems to acknowledge that the modding potential of their games is what drives their longevity. He seems traumatised by the insane crunch that swept Bethesda when they made Morrowind, Bethesda was near bankruptcy and they believed Morrowind would be their last game so they seriously tried to release without delay. :marseyreading: Todd said as much during interviews on it. He himself had to personally slap down the ESO r-slurs when they came to him about doing an expansion on the Dwemer and explaining their disappearance.

More devs need to learn this. If your fans like your game they would sort your bugs and add endless amount of content to it for free, you just ned to figure out how to make money off their backs :marseyantiwork:

Maybe crunch and hallucinogenic drugs were the secret ingredients required to make such a masterpiece.

>Bethesda is not outsourcing bugfixes to the community

Too bad, Bethesda clearly has no ability to fix them.

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

Bethesda doesnt even fix their engine bugs lol. The Creation engine is an outdated POS.

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

Honestly I don't think :marseymindblown: they'll ever truly update it

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

ofc Engines aren't everything but if Bethesda keeps wanting to make next gen massive open worlds they cant stick with it. Either they realize blindly size is a dead end and focus on making a dense and interesting world again like morrowind or they slowly die because I think even normies are realizing world size comes with some major drawbacks in terms of depth and density and Bethesda is no longer the cutting edge in open world size or scale.
