I can't believe Palworld is real and it sold 1m copies in 12h

Currently sitting at 92% it's probably the most popular game in the creature collector category in the last 5 years. Twitter account confirms 1m sold earlier today. Apparently modern GPU's run it at 200fps on 1440p so it's optimized. All this and it's just early access with more to come. Most people weren't even sure this was a real game because it had nothing but cutscene until 6 months ago. You can catch humans in the balls, make them your slaves and even slaughter them for food like any other pal.

I fully expect them to get in legal trouble for stealing sound effects from botw. And idk, they just casually admit to using ai trained on likely real pokemon for most their art, but apparently that's just fine with steam now?

Anyways, looks like ark and valheim and all the other 'survival crafting' garbage but investing heavily in streamer promotion pays off yet again.

It is definitely not bad. The whole automation of your base works really well, you don't have to micromanage it, which is the biggest headache in this type of game, any container you build in your base counts as inventory for crafting and building, which saves a lot of headaches. There are some bugs but I haven't run into anything gamebreaking.
