In last night's community livestream, 343 Industries announced that Halo Infinite would be ditching seasonal cycles and adopting the smaller "content updates"

They should terminate 343. Never made a single good game and turned what used to be the reason to own an xbox into something with even less players than very niche games.
All they had to do was build from the mlg playlist (at least this was bearable) but no they had to choose vanilla reach as the base for everything they made.

Never forget how instead of a Halo 3 sequel they made a Reach sequel (gameplay wise) with all of the non armor lock bad things amplified. Even before that it was clear things eould not improve with 343 when the title update was not applied to the entirity of Reach for some reason.

The multiplayer gameplay in Infinite was great, it's everything else around it was a shitfest. Halo Reach being my last Halo game, you could unlock all the cosmetic gear by playing and leveling up. Infinite locked everything behind $$$ plus it was expensive. Just ruined it.
