The "trailer" pretty much confirmed it's High Rock, because lord forbid we get an actual fantasy setting for once instead of Europe with elves.

Game wasn't even in development when the trailer released, so I'm hoping it's not boring Breton land

Mannimarco ascended into godhood after Daggerfal. Becoming the King of Worms for real.

The are two mannimarco too @3's understanding

One he is a sort of god moon the other is the mortal that we kill in oblivion. This is due to the daggerfall :marseysheogorath: dragonbreak

I never got far in daggerfall

@3 neither but @3 is somewhat a lorecel too @3's understanding

Basically when a dragonbreak happens every possible ending of an event is cannon all at once (basically multiple dimensions/timelines merge into one)

One ending of daggerfall :marseysheogorath: has mannimarco become necromancers moon/god another had him still existing as a mortal. So when the timelines merged both mannimarcos exist at the same time

i think i've bitched about this before here, but this shit kind of killed TES for me. a big part of why i loved morrowind was the strange setting. giant mushroom houses, giant crab buildings, the ghostfence, public transit bugs, exotic bonemold armor, etc. every game since has been as aggressively generic as possible and i'm certainly not playing this shit for bethesda's compelling game mechanics (lol)
