There is fundamental difference you people don't seem to understand about hero shooters and something like TF2. TF is 12v12, HeroShooters are almost always 5v5. This means that in TF2 it will always be a fight of skill between the teams, given they have an somewhat equal spread of all characters, whereas most hero shooters are more reliant on which line up of character you have in play, not a test of skill, but a test of the wallet.
Now you're saying the difference between a Hero Shooter and Class Shooter is team size.
Come on bro you're just r-slurred, pretend you were drunk and move on.

In OW you can switch your hero whenever you die. You even get to keep some of your ult charge now. The game is literally designed around people swapping up heroes as needed during the game.

Not in casual play no, I can top frag with anything but medic pretty consistently
Comp was also pretty static when I played. Occasionally peopled swap to a sniper but it was the same team comp for most of the game. Not really rock paper scissors
Strictly speaking, there's one (new) hero most seasons that you technically have to "unlock" (takes like 40 hours total playtime, just playing any game), or you can pay $10 to play them immediately. So there's a fairly soft P2W. But at the end of the season, you get the new hero regardless, so there's only ever one that you can be "locked out of".

Yes Tempest, that's what I said, it's not focused around being good but rather switching characters to counter the opponents.
