A 2K rep tells me: "Spec Ops: The Line will no longer be available on online storefronts, as several partnership licenses related to the game are expiring." 1/2

How do bideo game licenses expire? Did they license a song or something and now they have to pull the game because they're too cheap
to pay for the song again? If someone bought this game is it removed from their game library?

as far as Im aware no it becomes delisted on steam and you cant buy it again but you can still play/download it if you bought it
the license for assault horizon expired back in like 2019 and thats still playable, even the online aspect
