Previously it was believed that Hi-Fi Rush would go multi-plat but now it looks like they're going to do the same with Starslop and Indiana Jones. Indy was looking like the first worthwhile exclusive they'd had in years too but now that's going to be on PS5 too. It is so over for Xbros. We are witnessing Microsoft going the way of Sega.

Yeah I don't get this. Xbox mogs Ps in options and the portability of gamepass onto PC means you can play those same games anywhere.

I mean based on that chart you posted mobile games have been dominant for a while now but console and PC games have managed to coexist with them. The experiences they offer are different enough from each other I don't see any reason they can't continue to coexist in this way. Maybe if gen alpha are actually completely disinterested in console gaming but I don't believe they are. I don't think you can sell 140 million Switches without kids being into them.

fricking mobile games, theres barely a hand full thats actually in the top 5 of a genre. Like - best tycoon game is openttd and only cause its ported now. Best turn based strategy is heroes 3 cause its ported too.

IMO Mobile and Console/PC are two different market bases still (capital G G*mers won't touch mobile with a 10 foot pole in my experience) but it will be interesting see if Gen Alpha does drop consoles all together.
