I want to get the new Prince of Persia but I'm not gonna spend $60 on that shit. Any recs? Ones I've played:

I played 20-30 mimutes of the new Prince of Persia. I've never played any other Prince or Persia games but it was so dull and generic and not challenging. And maybe the layout gets more complex as the game goes along but it wasn't really Metrovania style from what I saw.
Just my 2 cents on a game you already said you weren't going to buy.

That seems like a pretty short amount of time to give a judgement, but noted because you seem to know what you're talking about and I like you. it is a metroidvania style game afaik though. I'm not paying $60 for it either way. I just want a fun shortish game to play for a couple weeks

I probably found it boring and quit really early bc that isn't the type of game I usually play. I only like some of the Castlevania games because they have a lot of personality.
