All the original writers are gone anyway so not getting released is actually a good thing. Watch out for the inevitable 'spiritual successor' that'll no doubt appear at some point

Argo wrote the best characters though and he is still on the team. But I don't think it needed a sequel

Probably not with the same characters since what can you really do than tell the same story again. The atmosphere of bleak nihilism to the point of comedy was the main draw to the game but idk how they could do that again while still telling something original. They set up quite a nice universe though so it'd be a shame if there was no other game taking place in it.
