Turns out the depressed commie writer was a miserable boss with substance abuse problems who treated everyone like shit. In other words, Harry is a self-insert. Then some evil Balt decided to griftmaxx and steal the entire company. Now it's collapsing because his griftmaxxing skills were much better than his game studio managing skills.
