Is Helldivers 2 worth it if I'm not mic'd up and only playing with randoms?

Imo its really fun, but probably not gonna get much long term out of it if you do. I dont see randoms communicating well enough for the harder difficulties, especially if you dont talk, might run into a wall and stop progressing really.
