When I watched it I saw her as a goofy Fable protagonist that ugly fit well, even though it may or may not have been some ugly foid diversity initiative, and I've seen a lot of commentary that she's SUPPOSED to be ugly per goofy fable protagonist, but I've never seen a dev or marketer say it. I would gamble it's more related to the ugly foid diversity initiative and just happened to fit.
