More games like Outer Wilds :marseysoyhype: and Myst? :marseyreading:

So I picked up Outer Wilds :marseyastronaut2: and it's pretty good. The fanbase is a little annoying what with the I CAN'T TELL YOU ANYTHING BUT IT'S THE BEST GAME EVER :marseysoylentgrin: but it's still a solid puzzle game. I personally thought of it as Myst with space physics :marseyastronaut: I'm a fan of Fire Emblem and Undertale so I'm used to ignoring terrible fandoms :marseyedelgard2: :marseyskull:

Another game I liked is Subnautica but what I specifically liked was the exploration and figuring out the story. I only tolerated the survival crafting.

!g*mers Any other game experiences you guys would recommend? @PeepeeButtKiss I think you shilled Outer Wilds so any others?

Subnautica is a nice one. I wasn't a fan of the crafting either though the bases felt quite cosy sometimes

Unfortunately I'm cursed with not having base building autism. Whenever I play a game like that my base will be as utilitarian as they come and I only build what I need to progress. I like solving the puzzle and I just don't like crafting.

Subnautica isn't a "long term survival" game where building a base is the point - it has a story and a conclusion. You can just do the bare minimum to install all the fancy gadgets and that's good enough. You really only need to make a single pack rat base in the starter area, then a second refueling point halfway to the end of the story. You can also play with the hunger/thirst survival stuff disabled.
