I'm not sure you can add this retroactively without ruining the game. Sure, tynans sense of "balance" is sometimes questionable and he uses a bunch of ridiculous workarounds that only works to keep the magic alife for clueless noobs, but increasing the number of dimensions is sure to break everything and make the game too easy unless you basically design everything again from the ground up.

Quick aside: The game used to have, maybe still has, an adaptive difficulty mechanic where you'd get harder enemies the longer you went without a pawn going down. When discovered, good players where pissed because optimal play now means to continually sacrifice pawns in a safe environment. Tynan denied this in the forums until someone dug up the lines of code where it was defined.

Both the neurodivergents and tynan got it wrong though. This mechanic allows you to optimize fun by being reckless with shitty pawns.

That said, the best experience experience is to be had by disabling this as well as adaptive difficulty based on wealth and just have enemies get stronger on a fast timer (that you can ideally speed up or slow down yourself) so you are not tempted to do r-slurred shit like wealth management that is advocated for everywhere.
