G*meranx before you buy is decent. I typically just stick to franchises or genres i know unless a trailer is really special or friends who typically dont touch a certain genre claim a game is really good. Last game like this for me was Baldur's Gate 3, which despite not beating it because i learned i dont care much for crpgs, got 65 hours out of.
