More sad are these we daily see: “They do it, for free.”

Not really, calladoody started out as a ww2 shooter, and obviously answering the calladoody is what a red blooded amerigoy did in those days. The title is relevant to the setting. Plus, they have sp campaigns

I remember being extremely confused trying to even enter a regular match in this game. Like, it was structured in a campaign format like Titanfall, but it had a match finder like a LAN-era title where you'd have to filter lobbies to find what you wanted, and it was unclear how you even started these lobbies in the first place. Just very schizophrenic design decisions that didn't even really elaborate on the selling points of the game.
Brink will always be known as the game with "SO MUCH POTENTIAL"
This game still has so much potential if they ever decided to reboot. Imagine this in 2021 with improved character customisation, fluid parkour & a battle royale mode. I love the setting & art style.
Please reboot this game! The character customization and the parkour part where exceptional! <3 The team based Gameplay was nice and I even enjoyed the story mode xD
Honestly wish we'd get another shot at this. The setting is really unique and interesting and everyone was sold on the parkour in a multiplayer game Bethesda should hire a more competent team for a reimagining/remake like maybe Machine Games or id.
Brink undeniably deserves a sequel, with today's engines and tech. Bethesda definitely slept on this one, the customizations through gaining XP. Almost not a drop of microtransactions, it was criminally underrated and for those that complained about the skill gaps. It was definitely not as bad as it seemed, even enjoyable Solo.
Granted I'm basing this off one GC trailer, but Brink actually looks good (I guess it didn't play so well). Concorde's reveal had people dunking on it from the start.
i was banned from online so i spent a lot of time playing multiplayer games with bots. brink was a lot of fun at the time, it let you pick a body type from very light to very heavy, light could access excluded parts of the map with parkour, heavy were fat with big guns.
i dug out my 360, which has been working for more than 10 years, to play it again but the resolution is absolutely butt, i don't know how i did it back then.

It was actually on okay game. Mostly failed because they overhyped it, and also had near zero servers available on release so nobody could play. Could not even self-host a server like you could with 99% of games at the time.

Is this the game that started the online focused corposlop shooters with meaningless titles?

Yes, but it wasn't the total catastrophe that Concord is. Brink was just over-hyped and mediocre, not eye-gougingly awful.

The parkour shit was pretty cool but otherwise it was just a generic shooter.

I got it because I really wanted something closer to unreal tournament instead of CoD/Battlefield
I played less than an hour and gave up lol.

Heck no. Brink was a great game. I don't even play games but I would play that one all the time when I was a kid. You suck.
