Destiny 2 YouTuber quits Destiny 2 :wow: (by "quitting" he means stopping all other forms of content besides reacting to other people's clips)

Yesterday, longtime Destiny 2 'tuber TDT released a video titled "I am Quitting Destiny 2." :marseyitsover: Not entirely surprising, given the absolute state of the game.

Due to many of his fans misinterpreting the title of his video as well as the word 'quit,' he released a community post to clarify his position.

I know videos similar to this have been made before but this time this isnt a "maybe" or a "I hope we dont have to" this is a very scary pivot in the channel. Please watch the whole thing (lolno its 25 minutes) to get answers to some of your questions, one thing I want to make clear is that I will be keeping around Spicy Clips because I like them but "normal" destiny content is going away and I will only return out of pure desperation but I am going to try to avoid that at all costs.

Thank you for the support. And I hope to catch you around in other games. This video was TERRIFYING to make.

He's quitting Destiny 2 but still mining his fanbase for D2 content. Spicy Clips is his series where he brings on other D2bers and personalities and reacts to other people's clips. Of course with YouTube being the way it is, this is by far his most popular segment with every other series not doing nearly as well. This is also part of a trend of D2bers trying to branch out to other games, only to get 4-figure viewcounts and find out in horror that their entire fanbase wants D2 and absolutely nothing else.
