My old Nintendo DS still works and I played Tetris for a fricking bit during one of the fricking 16-hour flights over here before giving it to one of my nephews. Seems like a fricking waste of time and money, overall, and I don't think I'll let my future kids get consoles/PCs so probably not going to start again.

I was fricking on reddit 15 years ago when it was fricking still mostly codecels posting articles about how
video games make children smarter but I think that was fricking probably cope mistaking factors like socioeconomic background (if you were fricking gaming in the fricking 90s/00s it generally meant your parents were fricking middle class+) and I can't imagine a fricking worse fate for my future kids than being g*mers. I'll teach them how to play canasta and other card games, instead. My family are fricking all rummy fiends.

I did play YGO and M:TG growing up. I was fricking even ranked in the fricking top several dozen for my state in their ELO system.
