>an Inquisition quest
There's your problem
(Not really issue with inquisition this time tbh, just with rpgs trivializing choices in previous titles to keep plotlines manageable. I'm still angry at 3 ignoring choices from 2)

Ignoring the whole non human uprising and the dragon girl ( ). Sure it was implied its too idealistic and has no chance of surviving but I hoped something would remain.
I enjoyed non human path in W2 much more than the human one. But I only played it on the second run since the elf guy was a b-word I wouldn't choose over commando guy, who was cool. It's just that everything else about helping the king sucked, he even betrays you at the end anyway IIRC.
In interviews they've said that they had an entire plot like relating to Saskia and Ioverth that got cut late in production. It's also why the war basically isn't a thing after the prologue, all of the quests relating to the war were supposed to be part of the Ioverth plotline.

It's okay because there's an Inquisition quest where Flemeth rips the demon out of Morrigan's baby and absorbs it
