my favourite part of sekiro is all the cool gadgets and special super moves you can find and unlock, every single one of which gets you killed if you try to use it because you stopped pushing l1 to do a five second animation for your super move that does no damage

I played ghost of Tsushima and at first I was like "cool red dead redemption set in feudal japan" but after sinking maybe 15-20 hours I realized it's a very shallow game with no interesting characters or story and all the quests are either simple fetch quests or "go kill all the enemies in the fort." And the combat is really boring and one note.
I really don't understand the appeal or acclaim I'm assuming the fan base is all weebs who just guzzle any nipslop that comes down the pipe.
