Mario Party Netplay (and maybe other games as well)

1. Download simple64. All players must be running the same version, so just use the latest release.

2. Set up your controller (you can't change this while a game is running)

3. Make sure you have the right ROM. I always host with the USA version in big-endian (.z64) format unless otherwise specified. The emulator will tell you if your ROM doesn't match the host's.

This site will tell you the correct ROM hashes for any game.

4. Click Netplay, then Join Room. Select the Custom server, and enter marsey.minecraft.best. Then just join the room and select your ROM.

I host on my VPS because it's hosted in Dallas, which is fairly close to the center of the US. The official servers are in Virginia and Paris, so if you're a Eurocel you might have to use those instead.

Note: If you want to host a game with cheats, you have to enable them in the cheat menu. The only way to do that is to run the game, enable cheats, stop the game, then create a room. This is not necessary for joining a game with cheats.

Also, players can't join once the host has started the game.
