How do modern games still have bad cameras?

Honestly it's like a coin flip if the camera on any game is worse than super mario 64. Why when I play another crabs treasure is the camera phasing into the wall as I walk past it. Guys we figured this shit out with Mario 64 just literally port the camera 1:1 in to every modern game. THAT'S IT, that's the post. I was trying out that fan game sonic world DX and I had to uninstall in literally 15m flat. The camera was nauseating and the right stick swong it around far too quickly.

clipping is much better than not being able to turn the camera or whatever bullshit 64 did

Baldur 3 would be almost perfect if not the camera going an absolute full r-slur occasionally, there is a spot in Cazador dungeon where a lot of characters can't get back to where they were because the camera doesn't allow switching to the higher floor.

Do you have a source on that?

Source?

A source. I need a source.

Sorry, I mean I need a source that explicitly states your argument. This is just tangential to the discussion.

No, you can't make inferences and observations from the sources you've gathered. Any additional comments from you MUST be a subset of the information from the sources you've gathered.

You can't make normative statements from empirical evidence.

Do you have a degree in that field?

A college degree? In that field?

Then your arguments are invalid.

No, it doesn't matter how close those data points are correlated. Correlation does not equal causation.

Correlation does not equal causation.

CORRELATION. DOES. NOT. EQUAL. CAUSATION.

You still haven't provided me a valid source yet.

Nope, still haven't.
