Kiwiggers SEETHE as the woke mind virus takes their based medieval game away from them

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a lovely eurojank game where you play as a special-ed student who learns to swing a sword in Bohemia. It garnered attention upon its release for the lead dev's refusal to add Blak people to the game, for "historical accuracy", and he continued to play the chud after the game sold well. https://i.rdrama.net/images/1737345098cN8SgdaOm0TkmQ.webp (Montage of various chuddy tweets from back in the day)

However, the upcoming sequel has been struck with disaster - a leak showing the darkest Muslim man in existence lecture the player about how good Islam is hit the web and created a frenzy. Additionally, there was a rumour about an unskippable gay love scene between the canonically straight main character and some random dude.

Naturally, this caused some panic among chuds. Was their hecking based Czech studio infiltrated? Where did it all go wrong?

They took to Twitter to pester the studio head, Daniel Vavra, to ask for clarification. Instead of an answer, they received non-responses in various forms https://i.rdrama.net/images/17373450972XpJ_MqatdbUDA.webp https://i.rdrama.net/images/1737345098kic66ZsAtNE3OA.webp https://i.rdrama.net/images/1737345098k9rKl4HjURuALg.webp https://i.rdrama.net/images/1737345098FpWu2yjbHgckiw.webp

Finally, the silence was broken https://i.rdrama.net/images/1737345098rGSdAP-9tu87Dg.webp

Yes, there is a proud Kang, and yes you will frick the bussy, and you'll like it darnit!

Responses have been measured and reasonable

Claims abound of plummeting preorder numbers and de-wishlisting https://i.rdrama.net/images/1737345099qt7Zt5jtC1aNLA.webp

Mark Kern has also become an enemy of the state, claiming the game definitely isn't woke.

I can guarantee that none of these r-slurs were going to play it anyway, particularly because I've not seen anyone mention this particular line from Kern's review: https://i.rdrama.net/images/17373450991OOAT_A9PeeDRw.webp

Combat is similar but easier than the first game

The real goyslop is in making the mechanics dumber so that hecking valid enbys don't cry when forced to learn a moderately interesting combat system.

As our resident expert in early 1400s Bohemia my take is:

Yeah, there could be blacks in Prague. This was its golden age when it was one of the most important cities in the world. Until just a few years earlier it wasn't just the capital of Bohemia (which is a big deal in itself) but the capital of the of the entire Holy Roman Empire. It had Charles University, the first university in mainland Europe north of the Alps, which was kind of a big deal attracting tens of thousands of people. There would be all kinds of people there. Traders, diplomats, college students, crackpot alchemists, mercenaries, priests, monks, nuns. Actually this would be a really good setting for an RPG if you think about it...

(If you want to know more, check out my Darklands LP where I happen to mention a few facts about Bohemia at that time.)

So in my opinion, saying there couldn't have been a black guy in Prague is somewhat tarded. Not as completely full-scale hurricane force r-slurred as claiming that in the first game they should lots of blacks living in rural Bohemia. It would be unlikely but possible for a diplomat from Africa to go there.

It's a fricking computer game, r-slurs. :marseyfacepalm: Unlikely things happen all the time in games. I mean ffs the most realistic depiction of Europe in this period is Darklands and that has constant divine intervention in everything and alchemy.

Now, to play the devil's advocate, if I was a chud who really wanted to make this not historical, I might look at which part of Africa he's from. :marseytroublemaker:

player choice

Sure. Let him go around doing homo stuff. Why not? :marseyshrug:

This isn't one of those games where you have a voiced protagonist and a billion cut-scenes defining who your character is. It's your choice. It's up to you. You decide what kind of person you are. I know a lot of you are consolestrags who grew up on Japanese games where you had no choice what to do, kind of like living under communism in the 1980s, so it's gonna be hard for you to adapt. But please, you have freedom now.

Henry is kind of a defined character, but his character is "strange manchild." He sort of grows up toward the end of the narrative. That would normally be a heartwarming moment, except he starts and ends the game looking around about 26, so he just comes across as :marseywhirlyhat:
