Haven't they already cancelled like two Generals 2 projects over the years? One of them had an open beta and everyone hated it. The future's not looking too hot for Generals.
RTS has been dead for like 20+ years by now. It's going to remain dead unless someone grows some balls, completely scraps the genre and starts with a clean slate.

Seriously, the design sensibilities have stayed stagnant for like 30 years by now. It's like the whole genre is still designed for Amiga compatibility.
