Any one who played video games know a cutscene is better than an in-game cute scene where you can control your character because those are unskippable.

I'm not a map painter so I don't have much experience with civ but why do they put so much effort into the 3d models for a grand strategy game when they could put more effort into gameplay and content with nice looking 2d art, or even just have it be a hybrid like Stellaris.
