Yup. Womans role and liberty is quite distorted in western view of history. Becouse things started to get strange in Renaissance. Now everyone thinks Renaissance=middle ages.
I honestly think because progressives have been screeding about how women were literally viewed as chattel historically chuds have taken that as fact and think we should return to that. When in reality that is horse shit and women and men were a lot freer historically than people think.
Even in muslim countries. Women had more freedom then they have now.
What people dont get. When you manualy do everything. Not drop of water moves without someone moving it. When your life is dependand on working hard during harvest season.
You dont just lock up adult person in room. Everyone works. Mans work and womans work at times is diffrent. But its all hands on deck.
More mechanised things became. Riches people became. Only then it was even possible to make women to stay in kitchen and pushing out babies.
But even in victorian US. Whole lot of women didn't get married. Something like 20% never got married. In UK 1850 it was 25% and there was way more women in UK then in men. In many ways women lacked liberty they had in medieval Europe. Yet they werent treated like property.
Neighbor history exists right next to you today in African nations where people are still primarily working in agriculture and the average women there will absolutely be sold off at the age of 12 to her husband if the price is right.
Somehow to believe kids weren't getting fricked in history would require us to believe that the west is such an extreme exception to the rule that out of all 3rd world poor nations equivalent in their time, they were the only ones who said lets not frick teenagers.
Is his point stupid. I don't know I don't care. I just don't like this reddit tier logic of applying child laws backwards into history for no reason that makes any sense.
Until the 20th century they didn't even really have the concept of teenagers out there. You were either old enough to work or a child. There is a reason so many 13 or 14 year olds were working the mines in the UK.

US centric much? European visiting in US pointed out how US didnt really have children. Rather small adults.

Sometimes you need to sacrifice a bit of realism and historical accuracy and not show children in sexual situations.

Question:
Is it more ethical to jerk off to drawings of children or to jerk off to real women who may or may not have been sexually trafficked?
