Limited Run has a history of doing all sorts of shady shit. I saw a video a while ago outlining a whole lot of their deeds, this one:
It's a frickin' hour long but some parts were things like, how the company sets aside a swath of their biggest sellers to scalp them on eBay while posing as nobodies. How they false advertised a physical copy of a PC game only to give out Steam codes, and then only offered those that complained a $10 refund for a $20 game they paid $65 for (because collector's edition). And countless little errors and things where they told their customers to frick off. That video was made three years ago, and they just keep chugging along because there are enough r-slurred suckers out there to keep them afloat. They can make games that brick your NES, and they'll still have r-slurs lining up around the block to buy more of their cartridges because they have to have a shelf with as many different NES games as possible, and they don't want to become the laughing stock of the video game collecting subreddit. Limited Run's a truly shitty business, but their customer base deserves them, and I hope they get even worse and make even more money off of those insufferable cute twinks.
