I miss Girl Code but the wokescolds would probs have a meltdown at the black girl saying her mom is "a regular slave black" and Charlamagne the God dunking on girls in later episodes. It was a fun show but zoomers wouldn't be able to handle black people having deprecating humor about themselves.

How bad was it to have to be cancelled? Like Batgirl bad at least right?
I can't believe they tried to Trojan Horse this series by making a Daria + Jodie series, then just a Jodie series, then a Jodie movie. About a college grad Jodie and how she navigates her new job in tech. Jodie was NEVER into tech and had a very 90s sensibility of racism, straight up calling out the soft bigorty of low expectations and how it was frustrating because she was actually exceptional.
This was clearly an unrelated spec script that some exec was like, we have Daria as a property, slap it on that. It never had a HOPE and I'm glad it was put down.
