had a "video game" talk at work and someone mentioned the new assassin's creed game and how "ubisoft made everyone in japan mad." i had to calmly explain to my coworker how asmongold videos and facebook video game groups are not legitimate new sources.

!seethers, throughout all of human history, there are a grand total of zero people that have, completely unprompted, explicitly described themselves as having done something "calmly" and been telling the truth. :marseyseethe:

The only Japs mad about Yasuke trashing Shinto shrines are probably far right delulu weirdos.

The Japs themselves generally dont give two flying fricks about Shintoism. They just go to temple, bow their heads, clap they hands and read their fortune and go to a love-hotel to bang.

The thing about the assassins creed shadows "controversy" is that everybody involved is doing it for culture war clicks and nobody who even plays games knows what theyre talking about at all.

As one of the only people lame enough to admit to being an Assassin's Creed fan it's 100% gonna suck but so has every game since Origins. Somehow the "We Wuz Pharaohs and sheit" game ended up being one of the best in the franchise.
