/h/wrestling is in need of Marseys for the corner icon. I could slap something together in GIMP but I thought it be more fun to have a little contest.
Starting today until March 29 at 10PM EST you can submit your Marsey to this thread.
Here's the rules:
The Marsey must be wrestling related, preferably pro-wrestling related
Multiple entries are allowed but only one entry per-submitter will go to the final round
This is a good faith contest so no
obvious AIThe submitted Marsey must be in the style of an emoji with a maximum file size of 16 MB
The entries will be gathered up and a voters poll will be held on March 31. If you've submitted more than one Marsey then I will pick which one goes to the voting round.
The prizes are:
First Place - 5000 in coins
Second Place - 500 in bux
Third Place - 500 in coins
Once again: You have until March 29 to submit your Marsey and a voters round will be held on March 31 with the winners being announced on the same day.
Don't forget to also submit your Marsey as an emoji for potential extra earnings.

The fans attempt to save Ernie Ladd from Ox Baker's deadly "Heart Punch" move.
Also with Cornette's commentary:
Perhaps the greatest consequence of the death of kayfabe is that fans don't get worked into a riot anymore.

This was arguably the biggest upset in sports history. Karelin was the most dominant wrestler in the history of the sport. Prior to this loss he had stood undefeated for 13 years. He hadn't given up a single point in six years. Going six years without giving up a point is absolutely insane. He has a suplex named after him (the Karelin Lift) because he was the only person in the sport who was strong enough to lift the big boys in his weight class off the ground. His PhD thesis was titled "Methods of execution of suplex throw counters." He is a national hero in Russia and went into politics after retiring from wrestling.
Meanwhile, Rulon Gardner was your average cornfed Wyoming farm boy (he literally grew up on a dairy farm). After the 2000 Olympics he went on to win bronze at the 2004 Olympics and then basically fell of the face of the earth. He ballooned up to almost 500 lbs and his biggest claim to fame since the Olympics was appearing on a season of The Biggest Loser.
Yet none of that really matters. He will forever be remembered as the man who toppled The Russian Bear by scoring a point on a foul and spending the rest of the match flopping around on his belly, Karelin trying in vain to lift him off the mat but unable to because of his bowling ball shaped body. He embarrassed Karelin so badly that Karelin retired from competition immediately following the match. What a legend.

It appears TD Garden has spoiled Tony Khan’s announcement for tonight. They just added a show for 3/13. Perhaps a “Bank Holiday” or something similar… pic.twitter.com/hFb1iWmael

is this really it? his BIG ANNOUNCEMENT is...a show in boston? i mean i wouldn't be surprised. once or twice a month there's a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT advertised that ends up being something not big in any way. so it's probably gonna be this or something equally lame like sasha banks is all elite!

Every time on the mic he'd say the same six or 15 or whatever catch phrases and fill the rest of the time with the same middle school tier insults. Every one of his big matches either had someone kicking out of a finisher, or him doing the other guy's finisher, or the other guy doing the rock bottom. Every good match was because of his opponent making him look good. The Rock owes Mick Foley his whole career. The people's elbow is gay as shit and when he made it his finishing move really cemented The Rock being the lamest main eventer for me. People are starting to notice Dwayne Johnson is a fake but I knew he was a hack 25 years ago. He's always been boring and predictable. He's never done anything great.
