What template do you use for making these?

You should probably ask someone with real artistic talent like @Sylveon how they make their Marseys. lol I just hack my way through making mine.

I'm using a free online editor: https://www.photopea.com/

I just find an existing Marsey on https://rdrama.net/marseys that is in a similar pose to what I want my final version to look like and then edit it. In this particular case I started with:

:#marseythumbsup:

Then I googled for a cartoon version of the Ghostface mask/hood and a bloody knife, re-sized them, then colored in the rest of Marsey's body so it looks like she's wearing the ghostface cloak.

Doing what you do is the best way to make new Marseys: Find a good Marsey to use as base (the original ones usually works the best). Then just copy, paste or redraw anything you want over it. Always in a new layer of course. That's how I started doing them.

I'm not one to look up to when making new Marseys. I draw mine mostly from scratch, in raster graphics and with much struggle because I'm r-slurred, dyspraxic and incapable of learning how to use vector graphics. Which you should if you want to make the most "faithful" Marseys.
