So he's setting expectations for their relationship (which is mature/healthy of him) based on his experiences in a past relationship (which is dumb to bring up on a second date but some people may want to understand his reasoning, otherwise they may think he's completely emotionally uninvested)

I cut the date short, he tried to walk me to my car but I insisted on going myself and then he texted me asking me to verify when I made it home before I blocked him.

There's a difference between being honest and completely sperging out on your date because of assumptions and advice taken from a subreddit populated by old hens.

The guy is undoubtedly a loser who needs to A: get over himself and B: recognize BPD before it bites him again. Don't walk BPD to her car, climb out the bathroom window and drive far, far away before she can write down your license plate number.
