You have no fricking idea how many dozens upon dozens upon dozens of shitty bait subs there have been that people have completely forgotten. transparenttranskid, justice4darrell, etc. are actually very unique among bait subs in that they had moderators that actually bothered to remove shitty bait. I jannied L4L, it produced a lot of seethe early on. Later on everyone realised it was bait and the offense went away. The problem is that seethe from bait is a renewable source in the sense you can make more bait, but each individual piece is nonrenewable. Early L4L caused insane and hilarious seethe, and then eventually became an r-slured zoomer meme sub instead of going out in a fun blaze of glory like it should've.
