Betting thread for the LA ballroom shooter STEP RIGHT UP STEP RIGHT UP

WHAT WE KNOW:

  • 10 dead, 10 injured

  • rifle

  • killer at large still 12 hours later

  • shot up a ballroom dance studio

  • lunar new years

Personally my money is on a jilted ex or random moid spurned by one of the women there. BUT NOT AN INCEL because he escaped and is still alive. Ex/husband seems most likely but I’m not confident in either of these assessments.

Wiz is convinced it was an Asian dude. I think he thinks it was a ricecel but idk idk.

Whodunnit?

BETTING IS NOW CLOSED AS WE AWAIT THE RESULTS OF THE POLICE STANDOFF

No self-reflection from this b-word on whether her worldview might be wrong and require an update, just "Oops, better delete this tweet so I don't look stupid!"

Right? It's not even about preserving information, everything is already preserved through archival services. I just want to force these strags to have to stand by the things they shit out onto other people's Twitter feeds. If you fricked up it's going to be there forever and you will have to acknowledge your frickup like a God darn grownup. I could very easily see this happening to even me and people I agree with, but I'm willing to accept having to eat crow now and then in the name of transparency. Stop giving disingenuous psychopaths an out for their societally deleterious behavior.

I agree 100%. I don't mind occasionally having to apologize for being wrong if it forces all of the narcissistic and hypocritical human garbage out there to actually have a moment of self-reflection about their OWN mistakes. I'm wrong a lot less often than 98% of the social media users out there so as long as this was applied equally it could only benefit me.
