$305 billion AUM. China is staring down their own 2008 Great Recession event. If the commies don't bail this bank out (lol), the Eastern world's economy is FUBAR.
Remember Michael Burry, the neurodivergent guy from The Big Short who made boatloads of cash from predicting the housing CDO bubble? Here's what he's saying
Bad news for the global economy, good for Dramacoin

I’m riddled with shame. White shame. This isn’t helpful to me or to anyone, especially people of color. I feel like there is no “me” outside of my white/upper middle class/cisgender identity. I feel like my literal existence hurts people, like I’m always taking up space that should belong to someone else.

I think china as a whole isn’t going to die. It may suck, but they’ll pull through, having an actual real economy and choosing to pull the plug now. Hopefully it’ll be funny though.
Aren’t they intentionally not bailing out evergrande? (Property developer not bank). I hope they don’t and everyone who bought the shit has to suffer.

https://google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idCNL4N2QG1T9 notes that China doesn’t have much reason to bail them out and that it’ll just be a real estate + bank sector problem probably. idk

again it’s nbd for “great depression again but worse” but bad if you’re heavily exposed to Chinese real estate and friends
and ghost cities are fine. A lot of them end up filling up, massive residential buildings need to start empty, and China’s goal here is a correction
Jump in the discussion.

Do a bit of reading up on these ghost cities. Buildings that are only a few years old are already crumbling to dust because the building standards were so shoddy. A lot of the property is worthless.

Yeah, I ain't trusting any of those buildings to be safe. The construction industry is already dodgy here in Australia, China's would be 1000x worse. Enjoy your dust piles down the track.

Chinks are being weird man. They killed their steel exports cause muhh climate change. Which realistically we all know couldn't be the reason, Chinks know that the industry will just go to Vietnam or India and total global carbon emissions will remain the same. If anything being wealthier they could enact pollution control measures India/Vietnam can't/won't. There's been supply side issues with stuff like fertilizer that made them enact export bans, thing is CCPs the only major economy left basically completely unaffected by coof so if the others aren't suffering supply issues with months of factory shutdowns I see no reason why China should. They're shutting down $100B industries with zero notice, cucking massive figureheads like Ma publicly, its genuinely like they want to go back to Mao's period.
