Got sent a case and it took 5 minutes of reviewing reports and slides to know it was idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. Now she keeps calling me asking me to review the slides further even though I know Iโm correct based off known info and Iโm not a pathologist. Go call one of my pathologists. Itโs been reviewed by a path and second checked by myself. I want to get shit faced drunk and go to a gay club instead of reading and looking at images

I was a donor prior to diagnosis.
Also still on the list but depends on changing medical qualifications. Iโm cancer free for over a decade so if they decide thatโs acceptable, Iโll donate given every year I donate marrow to research
