So I went down the Furry AI art rabbit hole and came across this lovely infographic.

TLDR: βPay an artist for a sketch instead of a full piece and let AI do the rest so you donβt have to pay.β
Theyβre literally encouraging financially fucking over artists now.

The Quick Rundown
Online artists as a whole despise the advent of AI artwork, but no online art community seethes about it as much as the furry fandom. They consider it a huge threat to their monopoly of exploiting neurodivergents for their neetbux in exchange for a drawing of their green wolf fursona taking a dump for a solid 3-figure price tag (the stink lines cost extra). They hate it to the point where all major furry websites such as FurAffinity and e621 prohibit the upload of any kind of imagery that have been created even slightly via AI cowtools, meanwhile proudly allowing shit like furry child porn i.e. babyfurs and cub to be posted.
Enter /r/FurAI, a ~10,000 member subreddit seemingly created by a rogue faction of furry coomers who would rather embrace this new technology and have unlimited custom furry pornography delivered right to their screens - assumedly keymashing their "Anthro fox woman with a huge futa horsepeepee, hyper realistic, 4k" generation prompts one-handedly. The subreddit founder and owner @Tricky happens to be a dramatard himself (or at least stumbled in here for a short while at some point after discovering the rdrama bait sub /r/LoveForAIArt), and is pretty open about taking delight in the fact that this furry porn generation tech makes the vast majority of furry artists seethe hard.
Anyways, it looks like he cooked up some kind of infograph/guide a couple of months ago on how to steal unfinished sketches from an artist and use AI to upgrade them to fully complete art pieces, with the express purpose of spreading it and causing as much rage as possible. (and also possibly to shill his sub via outrage marketing )
It was posted to /r/furry and hooked quite a few angry furtwinks, so it ended up being an adequately successful gayop which was then quickly forgotten again... until this random r-slur somehow dug up this moldy encrusted bait from the bottom of the dumpster, and now a frickton of Twitter artists with huge followings are retweeting it and spreading it like wildfire again. As of this posting, it's sitting at a nice 420 quote tweets of pure malding about how anyone that dares follow this guide will be blacklisted and excommunicated from the furry community forever!
Twittards React
I'm sure the dastardly individuals doing this will be commissioning on their main account so they can be easily identified, and most definitely not on a sockpuppet.
Please, please for the love of Allah I hope they start pricing out their audience and fricking up the art they draw for clients. Offering a worse product to your customers out of spite is surely a great tactic when confronted with an upcoming competitor in the market.
I think the bio speaks for itself here.
This dude's art must be pretty darn good if he's worried about AI chuds stealing it-
Oh.
This one exclusively draws obese pokemon farting.

I may be an open dogfricking zoophile, but at least I'm not a techbro chud!
Peak furry moment.
A voice of reason appears! Could it be possible that mass-spreading a great way of robbing furry artcels of their paycheck could have unintended consequences?
As I write this, the tweet now has nearly half a million views lol.
A furry youtuber is on the case! I wonder if he'll properly credit rdrama?
There's so much seething (it's still blowing up more even now) that all of these highlights barely scratch the surface of the torrent of pure anger coming from furry artist Twitter right now, so I encourage you to dive into the replies and QRTs yourself and dig for more. Huge kudos to @Tricky and his ability to turn his love for AI into this beautiful work of performance art.
Just to round off, here's the OP's artwork that they're terrified the AI chuds will be coming for.
Here's hoping that our AI overlords (and artcel hubris) will destroy the furry commission economy for good!

Oh hey everyone! Glad to see that guide finally took off!
If artists put up their prices, stop offering sketch commissions and watermark the shit out of all their artwork that the client PAID for, I'm sure that'll bring a bunch more of their potential customers over to the AIchad side when they get tired of dealing with artcels and their annoying whiny bullshit lol, they can stay mad (and poor)

Some artists do better with line art.
I honestly don't mind paying but my biggest issue is the fricking contracts
they make you sign, no editing, don't crop it, don't print it out, don't use it for commercial purposes, don't share the full res version, I retain full copyright blah blah blah. I despise copyright and it legit gives me r-slur rage when something you paid for is owned by someone else and the single best thing about machine learning is you can't copyright the product.Frick you, once I buy it I should be able to do whatever I want with it. With ML where it is artists have no business being this demanding, they should grovel and beg for commissions or just do it as a hobby.

THe only people mad are artcels because real artists are already making hella dramacoin off harnessing the power of AI
Speaking as an owner of these particular works of art, I give full permission for everyone to use it with unlimited copyright,
also you're
welcome.

What's funny is the guide actually goes to quite a lot of effort for a mid coloring job, if an artist can't make a furry look better than that they don't deserve to make money with their colors.

The guide was made purely as bait, I didn't really put in as much effort as I could have. The point was to demonstrate it as a proof of concept to instill paranoia of their clients into artcels.
I know some people who are way better with keeping up with the tech than me who could get a far better result.

Yeah, there's a much higher seethe potential updating it to include LoRAs, which can be used to effectively copy the style and characters of an artist
