Isn't the canon reason there's so many bonds is they die? There's only one bond whom would quite literally never be a woman. A peak male would never compete with some froppy black woman.

You'll be happy to know the "froppy black woman" literally gives him back his number halfway through the movie when he comes out of retirement and everyone's schizo rantings about her were just as r-slurred as I thought from the beginning.

She's not hot and she claims she's 007--I'm afraid it's enough to hate, on paper (like the plot summary of this crappy film.)

The fan theory about Bond being a codename sorta worked up until Skyfall, when it didn't. I think the only reason they killed him off is because nerds have started caring about continuity in their m-i-shit after 60 years and would have started flapping uncontrollably when NuBond would have said something in contrast with previous movies.

The theory never worked because they always did references to Moore and Connery Bond films in later movies. Like Bond’s dead wife is mentioned in a Dalton one and I think he mentions a few gadgets from the old days in a Brosnan one. But that was in the old days when franchises werent supposed to have consistent lore or tone. Now that everything is a cinematic universe Craig’s Bond tries to tie in every fricking thing to the next movie

Bringing Blowfeld into the Craig films was so bizarre. Not only was that film utter shit and boring as heck but it seemed like they just came up with some Blowfeld plot they thought would be interesting and ran with that.

They also did the austin powers backstory for him and bond being brothers
