Brosnan was good, but man the writing for every film he was in other than Goldeneye was a fricking meme. Tomorrow Never Dies is probably the most r-slurred plot in Bond existence, and that's saying something considering Never say Never Again is just Thunderball, again.

Connery couldnt pull it off anymore. His late stage bond roles like Diamonds are Forever are hard to watch, he had gone to seed without acquiring yet the grizzled veteran gravitas look he pulled off in later roles like Hunt for Red October.
