Introduction
There's no denying that the internet is full of misinformation. Hostile actors are trying to poison our minds and feed us with falsehoods. How can we defend against this? How can we tell truth from lies?
@_____'s answer is: don't. Just uncritically believe anything you read, as long as it agrees with your beliefs.
You might say "but isn't this completely r-slurred?"
Suffice to say, @_____ is a student of "a top 10 European university". He's smart, he knows what he's doing.
Of course, the proof is in the pudding, so I picked a few of his posts. The hardest part was finding the ones that don't link to banned or removed Twitter accounts.
6 Mar 2023: "Nooooo Jews, you suppose to support Nazis :marseysoycry:"
So, "http://voltairenet.org" reported that a totally legitimate Turkish website "Hürseda Haber" somehow obtained a list of losses in the Ukraine war from Mossad.
Fun fact: their tweets get literally zero engagement:
Anyway, among other things, it claims that Ukraine lost 302 planes. It's interesting, because IISS, in their Military Balance 2022 report, estimated that the Ukrainian Air Force had just ~180 planes in total. The other numbers are also very interesting, especially if you compare them to visually confirmed equipment losses from Oryx.
(Curiously, voltairenet ommitted the aircraft numbers. I guess they realized they're too ridiculous.)
14 Mar 2023: "Rumors: khohols mb shoot down burger drone"
It turned out that a Russian Su-27 rammed the drone, there's even a video:
5 Apr 2023: "Zelensky allowed the Ukraine army to leave Artemivsk/Bakhmut :marseykneel:"
The linked video is in Slavic, and despite that, no one had a problem with understanding it. It's amazing that rdrama (and Twitter) are full of polyglots!
Of course, the title is made up and this is what he actually said:
(Also, as we now know, the Ukrainian forces didn't leave Bakhmut at the time.)
19 Apr 2023: "Sudan war is over in less than a week"
Some of you might not be aware of this, but there's a civil war in Sudan. Fortunately, the war is already over! @_____ found a tweet with a screenshot of a Telegram post, which says that the leader of the Rapid Support Forces (the faction behind the coup) was killed.
Well, a month later, it seems the war is still ongoing, and the guy is alive and well. Bummer.
BTW, @Transgender_spez, you called it a "western coup". How come Wagner has been accussed of supporting it?
14 May 2023: "Seems radiation lvl is up in Ukraine"
Context: @_____ argues that an alleged explosion of a storage of depleted uranium ammo caused a rise in radiation levels.
His proof is a chart showing a slight increase in gamma radiation. But there's one hole in his theory: uranium decays by alpha particles.
BIPOC which part of depleted in depleted uranium do you not understand.
DU can even be used for radiation shielding.
It is technically fissile, but to do so you need to blow a hydrogen bomb inside. Some old Soviet nuke designs used this (like Tsar bomba), but its impractical as the bomb is too large.
This neighbor is so r-slurred that he doesn't even know that Uranium is an Alpha Emitter. He doubled down on his r-sluretness
does your top ten european university not teach physics? are you literally an r-slur?
Bonus
(About UK sending long-range missiles to Ukraine) "We are also now at point where there is just no doubts that Russian are ok with using nukes on Ukrainian and those long range missiles are west last card against Russian nukes and using that card just gives Russian card Blanche".
Summary
Granted, his methods don't necessarily lead to being well-informed, but maybe this is the point? Maybe this is the path to true happiness?
PS. Why am I doing this? It annoyed me that he pinged me in one of his recent meltdowns.

Im in the EU.
Where you get your degree isn't very important, where you do your internship and what your work experience is is. At least in my line of work.

Will you even get a good internship if you are studying in some C tier college ?

For sure, that's how the actual elite trade favors. Most of those internship spots are decided by either who you know or how well you interview in person.
Going to a good college/uni will get you a foot in the door but that's about it
