Its mostly only a problem if you take too much but if you ever get the idea "wow this has really helped me focus but I have an [important thing] so I will do a double dose", know that this only ends one of three ways:

stims are wild. don't go in expecting it to "fix" you, it really just helps you stay focused on tasks, you still need the motivation to do them. once you build up more successes you get more confident and that leads to more motivation, but getting started can still be really difficult. i also highly recommend taking short breaks every once in a while to avoid building up a tolerance. i take anywhere from 2 day breaks to week long breaks on addy. you will be less productive on these breaks but it's better than the alternative of the drug losing it's efficacy in the long run.
