However they might reduce the pricing structure if that was the plan all along - announce absurd pricing and then halve it. It'll still be absurd but that'd get the r-slurs on board.

Yeah nothing is changing about the price structure. I'd predict some special exception for "moderation tools" like Pushshift so the jannies can keep mopping the things the admins want them to. That way admins keep their serfs in the field, mods get to feel like they really made a difference, and admins still win because it just helps them clean the site up before IPO.
