I think it be because of assimilation. But it depends on the location of the asians too. From what I've heard is that asians on the west coast are pretty different from the one's on the east coast. I'm in the middle of the US and most of them seem pretty normal

This is definitely true. I’ve dated like a million Koreans and Korean Americans (and my wife is Korean-born Korean) and there’s something weirdly psychotic about a lot of the born-in-America-to-Korean-immigrants crowd. I think Korean culture actually is pretty misogynistic, not in the fake and straight American way but in the real “you can get fired if you have kids” and “the boss takes everyone to the strip club after work and you have to go” way. And their parents are like that too, so they kind of overcorrect and rebel and have a lot of confusion going on. The prototypical Korean American woman is on Twitter railing against white men right before going out and getting railed by some white dude.

I would blame it on assimilation, and possibly ethnic nationalistic tendencies instilled by their parents. At least it does seem to be the reason for Chinese Americans.

These second and third generations are born with the Western culture, but they had to constantly endure their parents going on "you're still Chinese, the foreigners (Americans) will not see you as one of them." A lot of them were able to break this spell and turn out fine, finding their niche in the society; those who cannot do this became bitter and resentful of their upbringings, and either becoming ultra-anti-West like you would see in aznidentity, or like this lady we see here.
