Love Live is well known for its semi-low effort, numerous, and seemingly random licensed products; if it is a thing that exists there’s probably a Love Live version of it floating around out there. The first thing that comes to mind is the Love Live pliers.
Anyways today they unveiled a solid silver figure of Keke Tang (one of the two Chinese girls) and it’s just so fricking ugly and also very funny. But putting aside the awful mould, what’s the point of this thing? High quality, expensive figures get their value from the fact they are done to scale and are very detailed. Even if this looked good, it’s still on par with a 30 dollar figure. Said thirty dollar figure also has the advantage of not looking like a terminator. The only use this thing has is as a fun murder weapon.
The comments were a beautiful multicultural melting pot where all races and creeds of love live fans could come together and clown on them for unveiling this.
Idk if this really counts as drama but it is funny so I think it counts.
