I was cashiering during the pandemic at a discount grocery store. A customer asked me how I was and I mentioned I was a bit tired of being on my feet as I was working a long (10hr) shift. Dude has the audacity to to say, " get a real job and then b-word to me about it." Rude AF.

The worst part by far was dealing with coworkers like the type to post on this reddit. It's a weird combo of taking the job extremely seriously while also being absolutely terrible at it. Seeing yourself as above it, while also making it your whole personality. Treating mcwagie hours like it's the front lines of the labor wars against capitalism.
