When Crysis was released it was pretty well known for the fact that even top of the line gaming PC's couldn't run it on full ultra settings, IIRC it actually took a few years before a graphics card came out that it could run it smoothly on max settings

Its pretty bad when you play other stuff on higher framerates. But you get used to it.

You can for sure tell more than 24, but in competitive/online gaming higher frame rate means you have the opportunity to see the movement fractions of a second faster

That's actually a misconception, the human eye is limited to 480i and 24FPS.

Holy shit lol that sucks. I'm close to that but my 1080ti is old and tired. I get around 60fps sometimes and the game feels amazing while it lasts.

It was this way with Elden Ring and Darktide as well. Darktide being more demanding as it's loading hundreds of models within frame. The amount of people shocked that their 5+ year setup couldnt handle it was laughable at best.

Yeh you could definitely manage to enjoy it on outdated hardware but i wouldn't know; i just remember the absolute shitfit people had when it released it's recommended specs.
